Note! In order to reflash the tablet you will need a personal computer or laptop. I used a computer with the Windows 7 operating system. I will also say right away that after the firmware there will be no data left on the tablet.

Download the firmware for the tablet

It is recommended, of course, to download the firmware from the official website, i.e. use the firmware that is offered by the tablet manufacturers themselves. In my case, this is the site www.texet.ru, i.e. action plan, the following, I go to the site, look for the desired tablet model, go to the detailed description, go to the section “ Support ->Downloads"and there I can download everything I need to flash my tablet, namely the firmware itself, the program with which I will flash the tablet and even brief instructions. In this case, PhoenixSuit will act as the firmware program.

I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that the Texet 9751 HD tablet model is available in several revisions, so before downloading the firmware, make sure that you are downloading the exact firmware that is suitable for your tablet revision. You can find out what revision your tablet has by simply looking at the serial number, which is exactly what it says on the official website.

My serial number starts with 1312, so I download the firmware for revision rev1, and the utility for changing the software, i.e. PhoenixSuit, you can also download the update instructions.

Installing the PhoenixSuit program on your computer

And so you downloaded 2 archives, one is TM9751HD-pcba1.4-20130619_rev1_sn1312.rar with the firmware image, and the second is PhoenixSuit1.0.6 with the PhoenixSuit program and now you need to unpack them. To install the PhoenixSuit program, run the PhoenixSuit_EN.msi file and in the first window click “ Next»

Confirm installation

During the installation process you will need to install the device driver, i.e. a window will appear in which we click " Further»

The driver is installed, click " Ready»

Then the program will also install, click “ Close»

Flashing the tablet

And the first thing to do is charge the device, even if the charging indication is not displayed, just connect the charger and leave it for a few hours.

And so, after all the preliminary measures have been completed, the tablet is charged, you can proceed directly to flashing the device’s firmware.

Step 1

We launch the installed PhoenixSuit program, for example, using a shortcut on the desktop ( by default it is automatically created there).

Step 2

Go to the Firmware section and select the firmware file, i.e. firmware image using the " Image»

Step 3

Turn off the tablet, hold down the “Home” key, connect the device to the PC using a USB cable and for 10-15 seconds press and release the power key until the next window appears, where you need to press “ Yes»

Now the firmware of the device has begun, it will take about 3 minutes

You have now installed a separate program called PhoenixSuit, designed to update the firmware on Texet TM products.

How to flash a Texet tablet?

Flashing the Texet TM7024 tablet and other models is performed using the following steps:

1. Again, make sure that the gadget is sufficiently charged and open PhoenixSuit;
2. Click on the Firmware section;
3. In the window that opens, specify the path to the file with the system image in the Image line;
4. If the tablet was turned on, turn it off and press the Home key;
5. via USB by pressing the above key until a message appears with the text “Tips: Does mandatory format?”;
